A classically trained (LAMDA), leading and character-actor commanding a sterling reputation for stage, TV and voice performance throughout the UK and the US, which is built on a career spanning four decades. A SAG/Aftra member in good standing.
Chris moved to Southern California from the UK in 2010 to get married and in 2018 he and his wife relocated to Savannah, GA where his career continues to flourish as an award wining Audiobook Narrator. This is now his full-time occupation and although he still works for most of the major publishers, he is currently performing and producing his bucket list of favorite classic and lesser known works in his Savannah studio. Though many are titles recorded by numerous other artists, his versions are unique, presenting a digestable, unpretentious, easy to comprehend contemporary delivery. Great for students and those who are unfamiliar with "archaic" writing. You can see and hear this work simply by selecting the Audio-book page-tab and selecting a title.
His Theater credits include countless regional and touring productions as well as London's West-End, The Royal National Theatre and the Los Angeles Theatre Center. He's also featured in British TV shows, BBC radio-drama, commercials and films, working with some of the cream of UK and US talent.
His voice-overs are of the highest order and you can hear his work by simply by selecting the Voiceover tab above. He's dabbled in music too and often worked as an actor/musician. The Gallery slideshow is accompanied by one of his songs.
In performance he takes particular pride in being versatile, creative, inventive and in having good instincts
